I’m running to make a difference for your children and mine.
— Kristi Briggs Kinsella
I’ve lived the Henrico County School System. I’ve spent time inside the schools as a STUDENT, PARENT, and ADVOCATE. I’m invested in the future of our children, teachers, staff, and schools! This is why I ask for your vote on November 5th. We can make a difference together!
— Kristi Briggs Kinsella

Kristi's roots are in Brookland District Schools.

Kristi grew up with her mom teaching at Trevvett Elementary while she attended Holladay Elementary, Moody Middle, and Hermitage High Schools.

She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Finance.

Kristi has decades of financial and analytical experience:

(Click below for more information on each priority)

Reduce class sizes and overcrowding in our schools

Students and teachers deserve first-rate facilities with smaller class sizes that allow for improved communication, relationships, and learning.

Recruit, retain, and reward the best and brightest teachers and staff

Empower our teachers with guaranteed planning time and relevant professional development, programming, and support structure.

Ensure equitable educational resources for ALL students, teachers, and staff

Our schools should be safe and equipped to support every child academically, developmentally, emotionally, and physically.

I believe Henrico is one of the best counties for raising families in Virginia. I’m running for this seat because I see opportunities to make our schools even better by providing what every child deserves to be successful and life ready.
